Digital Marketing Intern

Financial Social Media is a digital marketing agency located in downtown Denver, specializing in compliant social media and digital marketing for the financial services and insurance industries. Financial Social Media Interns gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced digital marketing agency. Our goal is to provide a valuable experience that will help interns become more marketable for a career upon graduation.

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will:

    • Support Financial Social Media’s digital marketing department with research, data, writing and project management
    • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to build successful, well-integrated digital campaigns
    • Pull reports and analyze past and current campaigns in order to influence future strategy
    • Help to drive awareness of Financial Social Media across all channels
    • Assist in the growth of the brand’s digital presence
    • Work alongside the Marketing Manager on email and social media marketing

Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of undergraduate coursework in Marketing, Communications or related field
    • An understanding of digital marketing, analytics, email marketing and SEM/SEO
    • A strong passion to learn the digital space
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of successful digital campaigns

Commitment:

We require a 3-month commitment. Interns should be available for a minimum of 5 to 10 hours per week.

Advisor Accounts Intern

Financial Social Media is a digital marketing agency located in downtown Denver, specializing in compliant social media and digital marketing for the financial services and insurance industries. Financial Social Media Interns gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced digital marketing agency. Our goal is to provide a valuable experience that will help interns become more marketable for a career upon graduation.

As an Advisor Accounts Intern, you will:

    • Work with an client services team on select financial advisor accounts
    • Contribute to the overall social media campaign strategy and management
    • Learn successful B2C social media strategies and tactics
    • Gain experience with social media management systems
    • Gain experience compiling and analyzing client reports
    • Gain experience in project management
    • Understanding how regulatory compliance affects digital marketing in highly regulated industries

Specific tasks include:

    • Writing and scheduling social media posts optimized for the corresponding platform
    • Researching changes to social media platforms and updating team members
    • Proofreading social media copy and blog posts
    • Sourcing news stories for social share
    • Creating and updating monthly content calendars
    • Contributing to client campaigns and strategies

Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of undergraduate coursework in Marketing, Communications or related field
    • An understanding of digital marketing, social media networks and analytics
    • A strong passion to learn and grow
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Enterprise Accounts Intern

The Enterprise Accounts Intern will have the opportunity to work on the accounts of large financial services and insurance firms, contributing to social media campaign strategy and management. The ideal candidate is seeking a career in social media marketing, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and is able to learn quickly. Knowledge of and interest in working in the financial services industry is a plus, but not required.

The Enterprise Accounts Intern will get hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced digital marketing agency. Our goal is to provide our interns with a valuable experience that will help them get the job they want when they graduate.

The Enterprise Accounts intern will leave our internship program with:

    • Strategies and tactics to market to B2B and B2C audiences using social media
    • Experience using multiple social media management and tracking systems
    • Experience compiling and analyzing client reports
    • Experience in project management
    • An understanding of how regulatory compliance affects digital marketing in highly regulated industries

Tasks will vary depending on the client and project, and include:

    • Writing and scheduling social media posts optimized for the corresponding platform
    • Researching changes to social media platforms and updating team members
    • Proofreading social media copy, client proposals, white papers and blogs
    • Creating and updating monthly content calendars
    • Contributing to client campaigns and strategies

Commitment:
